Site Safety and Health Officer
Safety is not a task — it’s a culture. I enforce site-specific safety protocols, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters an environment where every worker goes home safe, every day.

My role as SSHO is not just about enforcing regulations; it’s about building a culture of accountability and awareness. I work directly with site teams, leadership, and clients to implement safety protocols that meet and exceed both U.S. military standards and local Japanese compliance requirements.
Here’s how I take ownership of site safety:
• Conducting daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and walkthroughs to address potential hazards before they become incidents
• Maintaining up-to-date safety plans, accident prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures tailored to each project
• Collaborating with crews and subcontractors to create a shared sense of responsibility and awareness on the ground
• Ensuring all personnel are properly trained, certified, and equipped to perform their tasks safely and efficiently
For me, safety isn’t just about compliance — it’s about respect for life, integrity in work, and leadership through example. I don’t cut corners, and I don’t compromise when it comes to protecting the people who make these projects possible.
